Fashion Arena is Prague’s first outlet center.
Customers can currently shop in 74 stores which offer high-quality, renowned fashion labels, sportswear, footwear and leather accessories, underwear, fashion accessories, cosmetics, toys and household supplies – all this at ongoing discount prices, 30–70% lower than in conventional stores. Developers of phase two of the project are the same as for phase one – TK Development and LMS Outlets. Investment in phase two, which will provide a further approximately 100 jobs, is expected to reach 160 million CZK (approx. 6 mln.). By the end of this year customers can look forward to more brand names such as Hannah, Eastpack and Columbia.
The welcoming of its millionth customer in August of this year after eight months in operation attests to the success of Fashion Arena, which opened in mid November of last year.
“Despite our numerous outlet centers in comparable countries such as Poland and Hungary, the success of Fashion Arena has surpassed our expectations. This confirms our original assumption that the outlet concept would be successful in the Czech Republic,” said one of the project developers, Graham Coxhead of LMS Outlets.
People took a liking to Fashion Arena. A recent survey carried out by Opinion Window found that customers returned to the center and recommended it to their acquaintances. The majority of customers are satisfied with the portfolio of brand names on offer and the favorable prices which are at least 30% lower than in ordinary shops. Due to the location of Fashion Arena, in addition to Prague’s inhabitants, customers are primarily from Central Bohemia; however, shoppers from much farther locations around the Czech Republic are no exception.
The following brand name stores are currently open in Fashion Arena: Amnesia, Blažek, Bushman, Egisto, Factory Mariella Burani, Gardeur, GAS, Jerem, Jet Set, Lee Wrangler, Levi Strauss & Co., Mango Outlet, Mexx, OP Prostějov Profashion, Park Avenue, Pepe Jeans London, Pietro Filipi, Retro, Sarar, Think Pink, Tornado, Adidas, Alpine Pro, Arawara, Dream, Ecko UnItd., Hi-Tec, Nike Factory Store, Puma, Reebok, Umbro, Walk Outlet, Atlantic, Bepon, Calzedonia Outlet Intimissimi, Skiny – Schiesser, Converse, Ecco, Marc Picard, Salamander, Samsonite, Visto Footwear, Kids Bibi Shop, Pompo Outlet, Dyrberg/Kern, Festina, Fokus Optik opticians, Aurum jewellers, Parfumerie, Game Shop, Home & Cook, Tchibo Outlet and GECO newsagent and tobacconists.
